Something Rotten

I had the best summer of my life ...I'm so grateful. I got to perform two wonderful roles and I met the most amazing friends. I'm still convinced I will wake up to it all being a dream.

Performing characters "Marie" from Cinderella and "Bea" from Something Rotten taught me so much about my abilities. They gave me confidence I thought I lacked, and made me believe in the magic of theatre again. I'm sad that the shows had to end... but I wanted to take a moment to appreciate the friendships I made this summer.

I waited a long time even before the pandemic to get a lead in a musical. I had a lot of "almosts" until I finally got my "yes". I now know the reason is because I needed to do the right show with the right people. These were those people. I'm so proud of this show. The entire company has made this an amazing experience, and I am just so happy to be part of it. Thank you Black Hills Playhouse for giving me the chance to play an iconic powerhouse character like "Bea"
